Presently, we are open, but should the Government implement a lock down on schools and sports facilities, we will inform you of the closure.
Following guidelines from the Government, Retford Gymnastics Club is asking all visitors to the club to be vigilant, using Hand sanitisers, taking care to wash hands regularly for at least 20 seconds, particularly after using the toilet, before eating food and before entering the gym.
If you are in the high risk category, over 70 years of age and or having an underlying health issue, you may wish to refrain from attending the gym.
As we speak, we have staff in the gym washing apparatus, handles, doors etc., and this will be done on a daily basis.
As a not for profit organisation and a Charity, we do not have excess funds to be able to keep afloat, so can we please ask that you do NOT cancel your payments should we have to close. We will repay any lost time once the pandemic is passed, in the way of summer holiday sessions. Without your support through this, unfortunately the club will not be able to survive.
If you are planning to eat or drink at the gym, we recommend that you bring your own cup, drinks bottles, crockery and cutlery.
Please see the Government guidelines below:
Many thanks for your understanding.
